With the development of Smart card industry and its growing technique, a group of companies engage on this region one by one, which makes the competition unprecedented strong, so the development oriented on COS of Smart card has been the core of competition. And at the same time, more and more industries which use Smart card technology to provide serving or its value-added extended service make the technique of Smart card in cross-industry with multi-application to be the orientation of this progress. How to make the latest marketing demand into products, to unify various requirements into an open platform, to supply a more flexible and reliable application, and to reduce the workload on system development and maintenance, which are all to be focused on by both of the researching and marketing persons in facing applied service need of various industries.The essay named Research and Implementation of COS Based on ACI , according to the features of chip smart cards, it firstly designs an operating system which exchanges and transparently transmits information between ME and SIM cards to achieve the goal of Implementation Patterns. Secondly, it aims to the connection of application and system in the previous Operating System, modifies application that would result in changing and compiling the whole system. Adopted the design idea of ACI, referenced the design frame of Virtual Machine, and utilized the scheme of one compilation with running anywhere; it can separate the implicational development with systemic compilation.The essay, mainly taking China practical and new patent technique named"mobile phone common functional extender"as its hardware platform, designs a Smart Card Operating System with application separated from system and STK extensional function, simultaneously, it realizes OTA function to achieve the remote renovation and control. Through the abstract analysis of requirement, the system constructs system frame on the modular idea and so that it can meet the demand of optimal abstraction and system porting, which is convenient for the follow-up researchers to maintain and update their system.The essay, at the very beginning, introduces the applied background and Smart card technology of the mobile phone common functional extender, which makes the readers get a ?primary knowing of function and requirement of the Smart Card operating system. On the basic of this, it further shows the effect and function of ARM Smart Card on its hardware platform, which mainly focuses on T=0 protocol and other basic communicational protocols such as GSM11.11,GSM11.14 of the operating system of Smart Card. Besides, it makes a detailed introduction and design on the realizable process of security-control,ACI and OTA of Smart Card. Finally, it provides the design frame and realization process of the whole system on the basic of previous work. During developing system, a lot of aided- tools, such as Smart Card reader-writer,STK functional simulator,bytecode generator,STK menu generator and TDES encryption- decryption tool were designed. Besides, a general presentation of their realization process and methods of those tools will be given.The designing idea of ACI is the researching core of this essay, all the other designs are made on this foundation to make sure the portability,expansibility,compatibility,security and reliability, which embody the contribution and value of this essay. The eassy focus on separating application from the system, realizing OTA, extending various functions with plenty of performance independently in spite of the original system codes. The functions stored in bytecode without any relation with system codes.Applied menus with powerful functions and friendly human-interfaces would be disigned by these functions.Through the ACI, based on the various functions and variables,the system finishes task scheduling, variable management and process-controlled operations and analyzing the application menus composed by the bytecodes; and through the low-level communication functions, FLASH reading and writing operations, it can realize communications between the the ME and the smart card chip and the SIM card independently.Aa a result, the system performs STK extended functions and OTA function of chip smart cards. Until now, some applied menus including dynamic password,Guangxi lottery counter and clothes tally card have been made out, further more, they have been applied and popularized in the market, which testify again the feasibility of systemic designing scheme and will get a good marketing applied prospect.
