On The Unmentionable Diseases Of Netnews Post-bumping

This paper is going to research on the post-bumping of the netnews in China. It has been 10 years since the network post-bumping appeared in our country. Together with BBS and Blog(personal space), the post-bumping has become an expressing channel for the public on the internet. Different from one-way communication of news in the traditional media, the netnews post-bumping's establishment is making the feedbacks of audiences available, which has made a great effect and meaning to our society in the gathering of public opinion, the visualization of public will, and the convenient monitor and guidance of the consensus.As far as I am concerned, most of the existing research findings on netnews post-bumping are more focusing on the meaning of it, neglecting the possible underlying problems of it. In order to build a harmonious platform for the public to express their opinions, I am going to put forward some of my advices after analyzing and discussing the elements which effect the presentation of the netizen's will in bumping posts, the way in which they express their opinions, the characteristics of the structure of netizens, and the unmentionable diseases behind this.Unmentionable diseases mean the diseases or problems that are not mentioned or perceived by our people.However, what is the unmensionable diseases of netnews post-bumping? That means elements which seems like resonably existing in the process of post bumping,but provoke threats or risks meanwhile.Next, please allow me to name some of the most unmentionable but burning diseases and problems existing in the netnews post-bumping:Firstly, It seems to be a natural presentation of public opinions on the internet, however, effected by many social elements, it can not totally reflect and represent the actual opinion of the public. Worse more, due to the visualization, the so-called'public opinion'reflected by the netnews post-bumping are always considered to be the actual will of the public and quoted by many traditional medias. In the first chapter of this paper, I have sorted out some kinds of social elements effecting public presentation in bumping posts, and found out which social elements are so easy to be operated and controlled so that many unmentionable diseases are caused in warping the public opinions in netnews post-bumping and the reality.Secondly, the netizens, many times are not participating the social discussion and management rationally with the ID of citizen, but kuso and revel in an anonymous environment instead. The second chapter is analyzing this phenomenon, thinking about the reason of this, and discussing what side effects this kuso and revel have made.Lastly, this paper borrowed elite democracy theory—criticism to the public decision-participation—on one hand, the netnews post-bumping has really realized the visualization of the public opinion; on the other hand, it also magnifies the Populism of netizens, parochial nationalism, and the complex of ethics-first. After a careful analysis of the changes of our netizens from elite groups to the public after the Internet appeared in China, the 3rd chapter is pointing out the possibility of the netnews post-bumping in promoting 'the revolt of the masses' and an'era of populace governing' consequently. The post bumping represents the respect to the mass and empowers many rights to the public, though.As to the unmentionable diseases discussed above, I am convinced that more steps should be made to strengthen the criterion of the netnews post-bumping in the public expression environment during this period of China. And the first thing we should do is to give more freedom to the netizens when they are bumping the posts, and lead them to head for'free and open expression is the principle, and restricting is exception'.Then, centering on the netnews post-bumping, we make a multi-profile dialogue making the 'power' which effects the bumping go out to foreground from the backstage, thus resulting in talk between public intellectual and the common.At last, I am still holding a cautious and optimistic attitude to the netnews post-bumping, although so many unmentionable diseases were discussed in this paper. And I still believe, with the deeper influences of the Internet in promoting the development of democracy and the advancement of our citizens' media literacy, the netnews post-bumping will be surely more and more complete and able to shoulder more and more responsibilities for this society.
