In our modern life and production, pepole not only need to operate transport equipment on hand, but also need to monitor remote transportation facilities, with the purpose of driver and transportation department managing vehicle conveniently. Hence, the remote monitoring system of vehicle designed in this thesis comes into being.The system lays the foundation of fast passenger traffic,logistics freight,and intelligent traffic system. The Application of system by a large margin reduces accident occurrence, raising vehicle running efficiency.The embedded remote monitoring system of vehicle is introduced in this thesis on the basis of Global Positioning System, Mobile Communications System and Geographical Information System.It takes LPC2294 Microprocessor based on ARM7 cores for data processing unit transplantingμC/OS-II embedded operating system. It can deal with the geographical parameters of running vehicle gathered by GPS and the parameters of vehicle itself gathered by CAN bus.Then it exports uniform data formats.By means of GPS module, the system transmits the data to servers. Customers login the Internet in remote termination. Customers can review positions of vehicle in electronic guide map to monitoring realtime parameters of running vehicle.If an exception occurred, the monitoring center gives an alarm immediately and gives notice to the driver for the purpose of taking emergency measures.In the meanwhile, the system save the data exported by controller as SD card of vehicle, for convenience of the query and management of history file. The whole program of the system is designed at first in this thesis, including configuration and fuction of the system.On the basis of the concept of embedded system and ARM7TDMI-S processor, type selection and attributes of the host processor of embedded remote monitoring system of vehicle is introduced in detail.By comparison with features of multiple operating system, the embedded operating system is choosed in this thesis. In the hardware segment of system, the minimum System circuit of LPC2294 microcontroller is illustrated, then interface and function circuit of system are introduced thoroughly. In the software segment of system, the management and dispatch regime ofμC/OS-II embedded operating system task is introduced at first,including transplantation into LPC2294 microcontroller.The principle of GPS Positioning and GPRS wireless transmission are introduced,and application programs to fit the fuction requirement is also designed. The principle of CAN bus and the fuction of data acquisition is explained. At the end of this thesis, The whole system is demonstrated on the basis of experiment to test its performance. By experimental demonstration of physical product, the system we designed meet the control requirement, running Paramaters and data processing fulfill the requirement.It is a product which can be exposed to market.Advantages and disadvantages are analyzed at last.
