Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) in the military, agriculture, environmental monitoring, medical and health, industry, intelligent transportation, building monitoring, in areas such as space exploration has a wide application prospect and great value, are considered the future change the world one of the top ten global future of one of the four major high-tech industry. ZigBee technology is one of standard short-distance wireless communication technologies. Because of its low-power, low cost, strong currency etc, it provides a new solution for wireless sensor network implementation.This thesis first introduces the principle of ZigBee technology, basic functions of protocol stack each layer, frame structures and network topology. Then, the thesis introduces wireless sensor network, classification of network topology control, meaning of topology control, the typical network topology control algorithm and so on. On the basis of the process of applying for the practical problems, the thesis presents custom network topology control algorithm, then as the theoretical basis of the above-mentioned elements, combined with the characteristics of ZigBee wireless sensor networks select the appropriate device to complete the electrical equipment temperature control system's hardware platform design, and complete networking experiment to test a custom network topology control algorithm is feasible. At last, this thesis design of the software platform of the electrical equipment temperature control system, software platform, monitoring system development and design, from the test results can be seen that the system basically reached the expected function, rational design, to achieve the purpose of temperature monitoring.This thesis relies on ZigBee wireless sensor network technology, combined with a custom network topology control algorithm, designs a temperature control monitoring system. Large number of high-voltage electric power network equipment itself and the connection between devices is the weakest link in the power transmission, the weak link in question is connected to the real point of heat. As the load increased, leading to the connection point of fever and a vicious cycle:temperature rise, expansion, contraction, oxidation, resistance increases, causing the accident until the re-warming. Therefore the temperature monitoring system for real-time control of equipment provides an effective means to resolve the problem of great practical significance and economic value.
