With intended application of the PetroChina exploration and production enterprise information portal, new requirements are constantly emerging. The portal existing functions need to be expanded. SharePoint portal applications are based on the Microsoft.NET technology, as a comprehensive enterprise information platform, developing with.NET framework continually. Using Microsoft.NET technology combined with the portal solution, it is the most effective way to expand portal function.The thesis studied the.NET portal development technology, and discussed the SharePoint infrastructure and application model in detail, also made the research on the Web Parts principle and development in-depth. Based on the new needs new Web Parts are developed. Through the web parts which encapsulated business logic to carry out the portal functionality. In order to avoid activate the exception mechanism and security mechanism, all the accesses and manipulates to SharePoint object model are strictly in accordance with portal access mechanism, to guarantee the safety and smooth maximally.Based on the above study, the display and internal operation logic of ASP.NET pages are analized. A way to develop Web Parts by creating internal objects and combine paging file source code is introduced. According to the functionality expanded demand of the Exploration and Production Enterprise Information Portal, page view counter Web Part is getting data through internal object model and realing on portal parameter storage mechanisms to realized flexible database configuration. It is developed database selection show Web Part, realized the display of table data by create an instance for Microsoft DataGrid class, and then added to SharePoint controls collection. It is also developed Silverlight picture player Web Part, which the function logic break away from SharePoint architecture, realized flexible deployment with combined-labels embed in Web parts. In accordance with the same pattern, the path navigation Web part and floating window Web Part are developed. Deploying the new Web Parts to exploration and production enterprise information portal, enriched the portal page design method. The aim for explore the Web Parts development method and extend portal functions is realized.
