The Design And Implementation Of SOA-based Employee Training System

Service-oriented Architecture (abbreviated as "SOA") could connect disparate functional units (services) together through its well-defined interfaces and contracts. Consequently, the interactions of services within various systems could be realized and the services could be reorganized and re-implemented in a unified and general way. SOA is a bridge which connects the need of business with the realization of technology. As a result, SOA, because of its advantages of loose coupling, reusable and platform-independent services, has become one of the major development trends within IT industry.The progress of the society and the demand on individuals lead to an increasing requirement of employee training programs with flexible training and learning method. Therefore, the training of employees becomes an important part of the daily management.Drawing on an employee training system of an enterprise, this paper analyzed and designed a new system in this respect. The concept of service-oriented, the Web Services Technology and its role in system development are firstly introduced. Then the essay made some improvements on the currently popular SOA structure and created a flexible and reasonable development structure. Through the Internet, this structure could allocate, combine and operate the application components of the loosely coupling coarse grain according to the needs. Finally, based on such structure and with the application of the Web Services Technology, the employee training system of this paper was realized.SOA is a model which unifies the IT resources of enterprises into a manageable and standard-based service, actively integrates business issues and IT solutions and flexibly meets the rapid changing business demands at lower costs. Hence, the application of the SOA to the design of the employee training system could reduce the complexity of the system, meet the need of the rapid changing business demand, realize the loose coupling of the system and effectively reduce the dependence of the system on development software.
