The GDW can provide a high temperature and low temperature environment, the performance of the system or electronic components can be tested at the simulation of high and low temperature. As the demand of safety tests, we need a large number of GDW for centralized monitoring and management, it need telephone alarm in the absence of people on duty. For these reasons, The GDW monitoring system is designed based on PIC SCM and CAN bus communication.The GDW monitoring system, it was developed for the monitoring and control over the operation, the malfunction, real-time temperature, functional status of the GDW equipment. It can lift an all-weather remote monitoring system, operation and maintenance of abnormal situation in the GDW alarm and even executive automatic security operation given to the safety of GDW equipment and provide a reliable guarantee. With telephone warning function, even off-site staff can receive alerts, and realized the automatic monitoring without person long term of GDW equipment.The GDW monitoring system regards dsPIC30F6014A chip which MICROCHIP Company produces as the key processor on the hardware, it is mainly used to deal with trouble protection and gathering data in real time, the real-time configurable parameters and statistics can be shown, it can also realize the function such as telephone warning, history, and remote parameter setting. The high-capability dsPIC30F6014A SCM with CAN interface is used for designing the CAN bus interface. In this paper, the hardware circuit and the software flow are given.Monitoring system consists of a main control unit and a number of remote control units. The remote control unit is responsible for temperature measurement and control. Data is processed and analyzed by the main control unit. Users can control the system through the HMI in supervisory computer. At present, the equipment has been put into operation, it turns out that the design has the advantages of simple, high reliability, high real-time, high performance-price ratio.
