In some of the harsh working industrial field environment, human is not suitable for working, so a lot of monitoring can only be done by means of appropriate measuring instruments. The improvement of instruments affects the development of industrial control technology. In recent years, electronic measuring instruments with applications continue to expand and instrumentation toward intelligent, low power consumption, high accuracy, high performance, multi-functional, easy to use, modular, networked, systematic direction. These lay a solid foundation for industrial automation and control technology.Instrumentation-based data acquisition system is one key step towards industrial automation. This paper introduces a STM32F107 microcontroller based data acquisition system and Ethernet communications computer system. The system is a collection of chip technology, communications technology, collecting measurement technology in one, can long for AD data acquisition, data is transmitted over the network at the same time be able to give the host computer. Systems can be passed to the host computer peripherals, network, and other configuration-driven touch-screen configuration, to achieve the purpose of remote monitoring and control. Meanwhile, the system has some advantage of low power consumption, high precision, networking, easy to expand, easy to transplant and so on.
