With the development of economy and the change of people's consumption concept and living condition, together with the phenomenon that only-child's parents striding into their aged time, the Empty-Family will become the main model for senior people families. For the time being, the proportion for Empty-Families in big and medium sized cities has reached 56.1%, the problem of seniors'family caring is very notable.Housing supporting is a new service model, it is supported by the whole society, provides daily life care, housing service and other service. It is a supplementary and upgrading of the traditional model. It is also an important factor of developing community service and establishing a system for housing supporting in China.Firstly, housing supporting satisfied the urgent need for seniors .The seniors dependent on living at homes more and more and the requirements for that become increasingly variable. On Feb.21st, 2008, a report from the National Seniors Caring Office pointed out that above 85% seniors have a desire for housing supporting and 48.5% of them have variable kinds of service needs.Secondly, housing supporting is more compatible to the concept of"Feeding back"for children in Chinese families; it is educational in terms of spreading the traditional Chinese concept"Filial Piety". It succeeds the traditional moral concept and makes it ever bright by making seniors back to home emotionally and enjoy the warm from home.Thirdly, the family harmonious, generation harmonious, communities harmonious which the housing supporting highlights are all important elements in building the harmonious society. It stimulated communication and interaction between seniors and other relatives, it is beneficial to build a harmonious family atmosphere; it enriched the functions of community service; it improved the community service system and cultivated a warm community atmosphere. Besides that, the young's devotion into family service strengthened the interaction and communication between old generation and young generation.Finally, housing supporting as the third Industry can provide more opptunity of job.Developing the housing supporting will drive the economy development, mitigate agency senior caring pressure, and lessen the government fiancéburden. Compared to traditional model, housing supporting has the merits as less investment, lower cost, boarder service, larger benefits, lower charge, and more effective and so on. The push for housing supporting will do well to the transfer from Supplementary Model to Moderate Massive Beneficial Model. It is the right way to solve the growing senior caring service problems, expand living time, and improve life quality. The whole research is included as follows:The introduction part depicted the background , the current research situation, and the main work in this paper. Java , the developing tool, which is the main object oriented language , is quite technology advanced. It has strong Web service end subassemblies, which can bridge different platforms and interject to XML closely, so it can satisfy the system's need fairly well.This paper introduces the basic concept and principles of housing supporting system. MVC frame, Struts frame, Oracle's backup and resume strategy, UML and other concepts related to housing supporting.Then, it introduced the functions, system process, database design and some mainly involved module design. It depicted characters of use case graph, system construction, operation environment, database design process, data dictionary, seniors'information management and evaluation process separately. It illustrated from three parts, data stream, user example graph, and group graph. The data stream and use case graph together made the actual operation process flowchart of Housing supporting. The operation process flowchart comprised all offsets that related to Housing supporting actual operation. Housing supporting system put full considerations of its actual operation when it comes to design and realization, it covered the whole process into the system and expanded on certain concrete programs, thus it leaved a functional interface for future system update. It took a full consideration of actual operation; hence it justified the practicality of Housing supporting. The class graph part introduced the ideology and structure of design. The design graph comprised the design concept and realizing idea and it fully tested the reasonableness of the design.Then it showed the contents of database design and database chart construction. The housing supporting system adopted Oracle as background database. The design of the database of this system lived up to the 3NF and avoided any abnormal of upgrades, insert, delete and redundant data.Finally, the system realizes the housing supporting related user interface. The interfaces of housing supporting system is quite friendly, all users adopted traditional windows interfaces and realizing standards, taking the practicality into consideration, it added some special elements of housing supporting daily job, to make it more easy operated. The lots of experimental results prove the validity of the housing supporting system in this paper. It can be used more.
