During the constructions of key national projects, concrete mixing plants are largely used. According to the strength difference of concrete works, the cement mortar, before mixed, should be weighed based on the mixture ratio. It requirs that the weighing platform should be in horizontal situation as soon as possible to ensure the measuring accuracy as well as the mixing quality. In this thesis, an automatic leveling control system of concrete mixing plants will be introduced grounded on PLC.This system adopts inverse positions solution as well as motion intervention and prevention techniques of case and trailor bogie, builds a mathematical model, calculates the target length of the cylinder, designs a ladder diagram programma, and solves the old problems, such as long leveling time and low accuracy. The major tasks include investigations on current situations in and abroad, the translation of foreign language materials, theoretical analysis and project design of leveling system, the design of control system (including sensor calibration, leveling preparation, automatic leveling, quiting leveling, manual leveling, subprogram design or things like that), touch screen design (including the designs of main screen, sensor calibration interface, parameter display, parameter setting, manual operation, etc.), debugging and program optimization, together with a research on a modal machine.As expected, the control system is proved to be one of high leveling speed, high accuracy and advanced technology through experiments and on-the-spot employments. The leveling accuracy of its dip angle is±0.2°, the displacement accuracy 1mm, and leveling time only 1min. The design along with its analysis method proposed in this thesis is of great value to similar designs. Once finding widespread use, this project will create considerable economic benefits.
