Social network service site is called the second-generation Internet model which follows the portal site, and a core of Web2.0 applications. Since the rise at the beginning of this century, it has instantly swept the world, quickly became one of the areas of Internet hot spots. But compared to its rising popularity and traffic at top speed, the profit problem of social network service site hasn't been solved yet. How to earn a profit is a pending problem which is urgent to settle.from the point of view of communication, according to social network service site's specificity compared with the general network communication, this paper will analyze its communication elements from the following five aspects:the evangelists and audiences, the dissemination content, the media, the propagation environment, the communication motives and effects, and make an innovative analysis and summary about the unique characteristics of propagation of social network service site. On this basis, it will focus on the social service sites' management and profit models, explore the effective methods and models of its management. Currently, the vast majority of domestic social network service sites are facing the common problem:having not earned a profit yet and having not found a clear and effective profit model. When a social network service site has developed to a certain scare, relying on the huge user resources of its own, how to obtain economic benefits, and to realize the transformation from "the huge user resources" and "the huge market shares" to "the earnings profit". This paper tries to propose an innovative view here:There is no unified profit model for social network service sites. Each site should give concrete analysis to concrete problems, and find the right mode of management suited to its own.In addition, this paper will start from the problems of social network service site in operation, and investigate targeted countermeasures in order to provide theoretical support for the operation and development of social network service site. Finally, it will use the case study method to make a thorough analysis of "the happy network", which is a typical case with representative Signification, and look forward to the future development of social network service site.Social network service site is a Internet users'gathering place with higher levels of stickiness and activity, and its commercial value is no less than any network application service. The research on the communication characteristics and profit models of social network service site is to excavate its profit potential further, to provide some theoretical references to build a clear and effective profit model for it, and to explore effective methods for the transformation from the vast user resources of its own to economic benefits. This will help domestic social network service sites walk out of the profit dilemma, and explore the effective path for their healthy development.
