The Research About Chinese Broadcasting Form In Digital Media Age

Broadcast has always been a significant mass medium in people's daily life. Entering into the twenty-first century, under the impact of numerous new media, broadcast, as an old medium, has demonstrated signs of revival instead. It can be said that broadcast has successfully broken through"adversity"due to its unique voice properties and characteristics.Recently, with the rapid development of digital technology and the acceleration of media integration, broadcast has undergone a profound digital reform, which has developed various broadcasting forms such as Wi-Fi broadcast, mobile phone broadcast, satellite broadcast, digital terrestrial broadcast and so on, making broadcast actually"widespread". We could already forecast the future of broadcast in the light of the extensive application of wireless broad band and the fast development of portable online radios. In digital age, broadcast industry has changed a lot in information producing, broadcasting method, broadcasting instruments and broadcasting principle, etc., thus broadcast is no longer confined to radio broadcasting, but would have more listening methods and develop into a much clearer and vaster time and space medium without any time and regional restriction.This paper will take the breakthrough of broadcast through its voice characteristics and its rising in digital age as the point of penetration, under the background of digital media age, to research the new changes of Chinese broadcasting form and analyze the current situation of Chinese broadcast, and finally carry out exploratory studies about the developing tendency of Chinese broadcast in digital media age.This paper consists of four parts: chapter one discusses the breakthrough of traditional broadcast in adversity, mainly focusing on its voice advantages and unique characteristics represented by concomitancy and timeliness; chapter two introduces the rising and development of digital broadcast as well as its new advantages such as high-fidelity, no time and space constraints, large volume broadcasting and so on brought about by digital technology; chapter three enumerates the diversified broadcasting forms in digital media age and researches broadcasting characteristics and properties of digital broadcast; chapter four forecasts the future development of Chinese broadcast and puts forward some developing strategies for it in digital age.The main conclusions of this research are as follows:1. Digital broadcasting is an open and unified platform of digital system which can realize faster and more efficient transmission of information contents. It solves the largest shackles in the traditional broadcasting model- conflict between linear transmission and time and the conflicts between static reception and space. 2. The developments of wireless broadcasting, mobile radio, satellite broadcasting, digital terrestrial broadcasting and other various forms enable broadcasting have more options to be received. And it rises as a new media image which fully breaks time and geographical constraints and has more clear voices and greater capacity.3. The characteristics of digital broadcasting transmission represent initiative, interaction, personality and intelligence which bring new evolutions to properties of broadcasting.4. Digital broadcasting will make it is not difficult and critical for media to go into a new era of channels competition. The law "content is the king" will play a greater role definitely. Broadcasting media shall keep this core in mind and according to Chinese national conditions to develop the related new broadcasting service system and industrial chains for urban and rural areas.
