The dynamic characteristic of a sensor is the sensor's response characteristic with the input which changes according to time. A sensor's dynamic characteristic can be known from frequency domain or time domain. When dynamic force is measured, there is biggish error if the force transducer's dynamic characteristic is not good enough. Therefore we need to research force transducers'dynamic characteristic and find the way to improve it.In order to measure impact force, the dynamic characteristic of various strain gauge force transducers were researched and a simulation system based on LabVIEW aiming at improving the force transducers' dynamic characteristic was designed. According to the simulation results, a dynamic force measurement system was designed to measure impact force. The system is composed with strain gauge force transducer, data acquisition module, system identification module dynamic characteristic compensation module and linear interpolation module. It improved the force transducers'dynamic characteristic and can be used to measure impact force.
