Research On The Web Sites Of Chinese Local Newspaper Group

This thesis focuses on the web sites of Chinese local newspaper group, and analyzes deeply the profit model of the web sites.In October 20,1995, "China Trade News" became the first newspaper to creat web site, the network development path of China's newspaper industry has lasted 10 years. But until today, they have not find a effective profit model. Web site has an important position of the newspaper's digital exploration, so we should taken the profit model seriously, Except for the introduction and conclusion, this thesis is divided into four parts. The first part describes the development status of web sites, including the market position, click-through rates and the competitive situation. The second part take the "Qingdao News" for example to analyzes the content and service-products of the web site, including the layout design, news and so on. The third Part focuses on the profit model of local newspaper group site, analysis of its survival, including its advertising and other sources of income, the present profit model of the sites about commerce and Western newspapers.At the end of this thesis, we proposed a new exploration about the profit model of Chinese local newspaper group,that is, making good use of the network communities to increase the classified advertising and electronic business.
