The appearance of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) is to meet thedemand of the society development,it makes mass manufacturing andprecision manufacturing possible in the electronics manufacturingindustry.Mounting Machine is the core technology of the SMT,itsdevelopment history also represents the history of the electronicsmanufacturing industry. Owing to the rapid development of MountingMachine,the renewal rate of mobile phone,PC and TV is more and morefaster.Large amount of foreign enterprise enter and stationed in our countryafter the Reform and opening, electronics manufacturing industry of Chinadevelop rapidly and so is the market size.Mounting Machine had startedto leave the importion for self development.China is becoming to turn froma large manufacturing country to a powerful one.This project based on an old Mounting Machine of YAMAHA,takingadvantage of advanced technology to reconstruct and upgrade on thefoundation of mechanical structure.Finally we developed control systemof Mounting Machine which based on LabVIEW,it mainly includes motioncontrol system,vision control system and so on,thus meet the demand ofmodern industry.Using the motion control card of leasing corporation,the controlsystem call the function of the control card to be program realizationvia LabVIEW.Vision control system mainly employed the vision and motionmodule of the LabVIEW,using template matching to determine the datum markin PCB,to realize the vision localization.To realize SMD component’sdetection and correction,we mainly used image filter,thresholding,edgedetection and some other algorithms.Employing the recurrent eventstructure,we can complete the integral control system.
