The Design And Realization Of University Network Teaching System Based On Web

With the development of computer and network technology, great changes in the education system and teaching mode of university are happening. The traditional teaching mode is teacher-centered, with the teacher giving lecture faced by the students on the platform. However, some of the students are troubled adapting to different styles of lecturing, and they can't learn well from the class. Network teaching, as a new means of teaching, full use of the latest computer technology, network technology and multimedia technology, makes teaching materials demonstrate more flexibility and vivid. What is more, network teaching, which crosses time and space constraints, having a great deal of interactivity, is the most powerful tool that supports students self-learning under the guidance of teachers. Network teaching changes the relationships between the teachers and the students, and it turns the teachers from traditional role, who are the only person that impart knowledge, to guide role. The most important of all is that the students are performing as the main part during the teaching process, and a new kind relationship of teaching and learning appears.After research, this paper designs a network teaching system based on Web. In this system, there is good network teaching environment, where students are the main body, led by teachers. The starting point of this system is to increase the self-learning and co-learning ability of the students. This system fully supports all parts of teaching, and it integrates various teaching services, including the sharing of teaching resources, talking with each other online, testing and examining online, network answering and so on.Based on the introductions of the necessity and importance of the network teaching system, this paper analyzes the total requirements of the network teaching system, and then analyzes concretely the child modules, user management, department information management, teaching resources management, course management, online test, online talking etc. by UML model. With the system demand analysis, this paper designs the system total function layout and B/S architecture. After the analysis of system function and business, this paper designs the database E-R model and logical data model of this system. At the same time, the paper introduces the key technologies of the system realization which is described in detail. Finally, this paper sums up the whole article and gives future prospects of the study on network teaching system.
