Research On Course Design And Network-assisted Learning Platform Development For "Principles Of Database Systems"

The continuous development of computer network technology improve all aspects of people work to the next level. The matures of network multimedia technology that integration of video, voice and data, and as the widely promotion of Internet offers great technical support for teaching. Due to the current traditional teaching has many deficiencies, it is not very good teaching effectiveness, teaching reform is imperative. Network bring convenience to us and at the same time, make full use of the advantages of network resources and reform the assisted teaching, I think students can still be well received, this is much better than the simple use of monotonous, boring traditional model. I combine our school actual situation of teaching for "Principles of database systems"course, design and development the "Principle of Database System," online teaching aids.This study mainly based on Computer Science and Technology College course "Principles of Database Systems" for example, contrary to Xinjiang Normal University, design and development practical application that meet the needs of "Principle of Database System" network teaching system. Firstly, clearly shows the concept of online teaching support system, summarized the current development of the system. By analyzing the design of online teaching support system gives the theoretical basis. Secondly, to analyze the university's existing database system teaching, combined with the actual needs of the system develop the "Principles of Database Systems" course (including analysis of learners, content analysis, analysis of teaching objectives, the choice of teaching strategies, etc.), clarify design and development purpose and meaning, given the basis for system development. Third, given a design for network assisted teaching system platform. This includes database design, the design of each functional module. Fourth, discusses the implementation method of Network Teaching System. Mainly achieved in the network environment of the navigation strategy, learning content, diagnostic evaluation, teaching strategy design, and implementation of courseware rest functions. Finally, further analysis and summary the system testing and safety. Research achievements is design and development for the "Principle of Database System and Application" assisted learning system. Hope that this study design process and the practical application environment for network-based teaching models and instructional design theory and practice of building blocks, and teaching aids for the network system in teaching and research staff to provide reference and assistance.
