For the importance of the measurement of powder quality in detonator production area, but there is no clear standard for production. My thesis developed an efficient powder measurement and monitoring on line system, which is with the support of the third party company.After a particular research of the previous project, I decided to insist the photo-electricity measurement system which merges optical fiber sensor technology.But I have to make some important developments to meet requirements from the company.Opto-electronic sensor technology is rapidly growing as a new member of the sensors'family. After a series of test,we could confirm that optical fiber sensor fit for our project. In order to accomplish the speed of the measurement, I will kepp the 50 channels measure method which could save both time and space. On the other hand, I will make some instructive improvements to enhance efficient of the whole system.Fisrt of all,there are two or three levels of powder need to be check sometimes,we'd better raise linear interval,so I introduce three LEDs in every sensor.As a result it worked well with different demands.Then I designed a new board to drive LEDs,the new one could make system operate much more stablely,and reduce the temperature of itself.At last embedded system is not easy to use.It's difficult for the worker to determine top level and subscript level,every time you need to rewrite the programme and download it to ARM.I finished a simple programme with UI byVC,you can use it without teaching on PC with Windows environment.In addition, the thesis could save the cost in the measurement application area. It also shows the improvement plan.This thesis is the application of the photo-electricity technology in new area. It makes a good winning for further exploring and experimenting.
