With the development of the technology and science, people are paying moreattention to health. Today, the heart disease is one of the major diseases that pose threat topeople’s life and health. The more and more powerful processing capability of smartphones makes online physiological monitoring possible. With the development of ECGTelemonitor system, it is possible for the patients who suffer cardiovascular disease toobtain the prompt yet effective treatment. I designed a multichannel remote ECGmonitoring system. The hardware module of amplifier and transfer unit were designed tofully meet the basic requirements of home-use monitoring. The human heart multichannel ECG telemonitoring function is relisead in this system.ECG waveform can be viewed on the mobile phone and a simple analysis of cardiacconditions can be also made on it. In this system, abnormal ECG analysis and alarmfunction can be provided by a server. The designed system is mainly composed of twoparts: hardware and software. The hardware of the system, using EFM32G210 as embedded Micro Controller Unit, mainly include ECG signal acquisition module, Liquid crystal display module andwireless communication module. ECG signas are filtered, amplified and A/D converted inthe acquisition module. The acquired ECG waveform is displayed on the liquid crystaldisplay module. Bluetooth wireless communication module transmits the data to the smartmobile phone for the purpose of display and analysis. Also, the data is uploaded to theremote monitoring center through GPRS or 3G to be further analyzed and diagnosed. In the software part of the system, the control end is programmed in C language, andapplies treatment and read control on the analog-to-digital converted ECG signal. Thesoftware is programmed in Java and runs on Nokia smart phones. The remote server isprogrammed in Visual C + +. Due to the portability of Java, the software can be easilytransplanted to other smart phones with Java support platform and Bluetooth interface. The software on mobile phones has the function to retrieve, store and analyze data.. TheECG signals are processed using a dyadic discrete wavelet (DDWT) algorithm. Its reliability is evaluated through statistical test against MIT/BIT data. The QRS complexdetection algorithms were tested by 48 subjects and the total standard heart beats were110158, with a detect error rate of 0.13%.
