Development of Web-based Personal Health PlatformIn the 21 century, e-health is considered as the most promising direction for the development of contemporary IT-solution field. The growing trend of the e-health solution field has shown the needs:a) for efficient treatment, the needs of real-time monitoring on the indicators of patients/trainees current state. b) for patient/trainees to be better aware of the health suggestion, the needs of getting annotations and suggestions anytime. c) for better communication, the mediated tools needed between doctors/trainers and patients/trainees.. d) for large-scale care assistance, the needs of automatic assistance services. The solution lies in creating a platform integrating the functions such as real-time monitoring, data analysis, and patient-doctor portal-mediated interaction. Our PHR IT-solution is based on one part of a larger project on lifestyle-aware remote care conducted by University of Trento, Italy, and Hospital San Raffaele di Milano, Italy, whose goal is the development of a comprehensive infrastructure for the monitoring of lifestyle events of patients, modeling and recognition of lifestyle patterns starting from lifestyle events, automatic discovery of lifestyle patterns, analysis and diagnosis of lifestyle patterns, and reporting on and communication of health data. Pinkr, in particular, focuses on this latter aspect, i.e., the development of the web portal that enables the communication among doctors and patients and the viewing and editing of collected health data. As a special case of doctors/patients, Pinks also focuses on sports and on assisting trainers/trainees.The goal of our e-health solution is the design of a web portal for real-time and offline remote care/assistance, virtually bringing together doctors/trainers and patients/trainees and enabling the former to monitor and assist the latter and the latter to self-assess their own health/training state and to obtain advise. The portal integrates real-time patient/trainee monitoring data coming from intelligent sensors, doctors'/trainers'individual assessments and annotations, and results from offline data analyses in order to provide for a portal-mediated interaction between doctors/trainers and patients/trainees that fully respects privacy. To achieve such goals above, we divided our program into several relatively independent functional modules, to be able to apply the PHR, PHP concepts and well-accepted industry standards with e-health field, integrated the Patient management model and Customer relationship model, provide a variety of customer relationship management capabilities, based on real-time monitoring, offline analysis, to provide efficient, high-quality care services. The challenges of this thesis is to the design and implementation of PHR solutions, after research in currently related real-time monitoring, remote health care services, we design PHR platform for real-time monitoring, remote health care, considering the application of existing modules, such as Google Map's API to describe the real-time geographic information with mobile client application which could upload the collected data via Restful Web services for real-time data collection and ultimately visualized dashboard and dynamic interactive interfaces via the current AJAX to provide doctors\ patients, trainers\trainees functions described above.Meantime, we research on the trend of development within e-health including E-medical records research, system architecture, related services, data models of existing products, concern concepts, the provision of services and functions which will be integrated and reused as one part of our PHR personalized health\health-care management solutions. At the same time, our PHR solution had opened up a new topic, personalized health/wellness management, regarding the security and privacy via access control. Our solution allows users their health condition via doctor online supports, health knowledge awareness, personalized health condition dashboard and records and adopting a healthier lifestyle to achieve health management. By comparing the training records and the results of trainees, trainers could found the best training model for high-performance training schedule making. Ultimately the PHR of all the users in the system could be easily share with other organizations regarding the privacy policies for health issues, such as insurance companies could also involved to provide more intelligent life-long issuance services. At the same time, we researched on concepts of PHR and the relevant internationally accepted industry standards for in-depth analysis CCR, HL7 CDA, OpenEHR and other standards in PHR fields, classified the living conditions, personal health information, medical diagnostic into categories in order to maximally integrated these concepts. This thesis described the E-R data model as the data warehouse in the background for supporting our web-based PHR solution, we also defined user types, the mapping relation between data tables, and applied Web 2.0 concepts for access control regarding the privacy and security issues. Then, we gave the PHR solutions high-level design, low-level design in software engineering methods. This PHR solution will be provided as SaaS (Software as a service) method, Our PHR solution will be available for the users who use the web-brewers such as IE, Firefox. Through this platform, users will promptly contact his/her doctor/trainer, view real-time personal healthcare records interfaces, historical records to enjoy efficient and convenient health/wellness services. In short, we hope to continue our future research on PHR solution design and integration of more domain knowledge and achievements in e-health fields, such as patient management, chronic disease management, regional medical management and other functions from other module and tools for health service. we will use of latest IT technologies such as XML database technology, Web services technology, interface display technology to adapt to the new needs of data access, real-time monitoring, offline analysis and friendly showing the, of medical information. We also integrate more accurate and intelligent sensors to easier data collect, edit and upload the data to make services more personalized and targeted and ultimately provide users with more personalized, more efficient healthcare/wellness management services.
