Personal health information management is a kind of medical information management model. It is increasingly popular with the rise of the Internet. Personal health information is a health record which let the patient(s) manage his/her own health data and information related to the care of the patient. We can improve people’s health awareness and promote the development of domestic medical information level by building personal health information management system.In this paper, Considering the problem of traditional management system based on the relational database and stand-alone node, such as high cost, lack of computing power, unable to support data mining, data security and reliability in doubt, slow access speed, poor scalability, etc, this paper integrates the big data research technology, Web Service technology, Hadoop cloud computing framework, No SQL databases, data mining and other key technologies, build a Hadoop-based personal health information management system.The personal health information management system implemented in this paper consists of two parts : personal health information data center and personal health information service platform based on it. In the process of building the personal health information data center, considering the actual demand for the personal health information,we take the advantage of the characteristics of Hadoop cloud computing framework,using Hadoop, HBase and other widely used in large data processing technology to solve the problems, such as definition of health data elements, the synchronization strategy selection,, and implementation of real-time query API,maintenance of No SQL database operation and other possible issues.After that, on the basis of a well-worked health information data center, we take the advantage of the characteristics of Hadoop cloud computing framework to solve the various problems in a series of problems,such as early warning of disease risk. In order to improved user experience, we implements the Android and i Phone client of personal health information management system based on the popular phonegap and HTML5 technology.Finally, through the establishment of simulation data, the performance of the service platform and data center were tested and verified, which proved the feasibility of the Hadoop-based personal health information management system.
