In recent years, with the rapid growing demand of wireless communications and data transmission in areas such as society information home intelligent and industrial automation, ZigBee protocol standards which based on IEEE802.15.4 have emerged and showed good momentum of rapid development as a new wireless sensor network technologies. ZigBee is used in industrial control,consumer electric devices,auto automation and the military unmanned and smart network communication as it has the following key features:low power, low cost, low data rate, short distance and large network capacity. ZigBee technology uses thousands of tiny sensors which require very little energy to achieve mutual cooperative communication.The data is always transmitted from one sensor to another until arrived the destination, so it is an extremely efficient communication.Through a large amount of information home and abroad and a thorough study of IEEE802.15.4,ZigBee specification the whole frame and function of every layers of ZigBee protocol stack, this thesis gives a brief introduction about data connection and service management between the physical layer,Medium Access Control layer,network layer and application layer. By selecting the appropriate hardware and software platforms and software development environment, the thesis gives a specific solution focusing on the overall structure of the software design and implementation of communication protocol stack. The solution uses CC2430 as the RF module, and uses the C51RF-3-PK system supported by Chengdu Wireless Communication Technology Company as software development environment. I designed the specific hardware circuit board and the software functionality about data transmission and data collection. The solution makes full use of the integrated development environment API functions to simplify the development process and reduce the work. Finally, a star network which meets the ZigBee specification is realized.Based on a star network model, this article carefully analyses and researches the super frame structure of ZigBee network technology, summarizes up the beacon frame three major roles:network formation, network synchronization, data transfer instructions. In a beacon enabled network, and in the beacon frame to maintain the role of network synchronization, studying the frame structure of beacon frame and its ability to carry information, effective use of information in the untreated device address in the sub-domain of the beacon frame payload, work hard on open ideas and innovative design to enhance the efficiency of terminal equipment on idle sleep, raise a energy-saving programs synchronized to beacon-enabled network. Starting with the theoretical basis, the hardware facilities, and the introduction to the software design, step by step, this article solves optimized design of energy-saving programs for the temperature acquisition system.ZigBee network technology possesses many development advantages, such as low-cost equipment, data transmission reliability, high security, equipment, small size of, which will gain broad application in the future military, industrial, agricultural, medical and other fields. With this issue, this article concludes by examining the ZigBee network in the role of military applications, and carefully analyses the ever-changing battlefield environment of future high-tech battlefield conditions, using the strong routing function of ZigBee technology network layer, from the model design to software implementation, step by step, designs a communications network for life subsystem of individual soldier combat system. In the network, each soldier carries a full-function device FFD, not only providing services for the local sensor collecting data information, but also for providing relay route for the soldiers who acting far and isolated devices re-network.Finally, this article has done a prospect for the development of ZigBee network technology, because network technology has its unique advantages, we believe that the ZigBee network technology will effectively change our lives in the next few years.
