As people's material and cultural living standards rising, people's demand for mobile communication services is also growing. Because the current second-generation mobile communication systems in both capacity and operational capabilities can not meet the huge demand of society, so the third-generation mobile communication technology is operating. TD-SCDMA which has been recognized by ITU is the third generation of mobile communications standards, and we have all its independent intellectual property rights. The core of wireless mobile communications is the channel capacity and spectral efficiency, and smart antenna technology is the key technology to solve this problem. The smart antenna technology is not yet fully developed a new technology. Smart antenna technology to improve the development of wireless communication has great significance.First, the establishment and development of TD-SCDMA communication system is introduced, and the current problems of TD-SCDMA communication system in the real business. Then it introduces smart antenna technology's effect in solving the role of current issues of TD-SCDMA system and smart antenna technology in the field of development communication.Then, In detail the article introduces the basic principles and the current presence of various smart antenna several models of smart antenna technology. Intelligent Antenna parameters in the application of the analysis and introduction, and analyzing the key points of smart antenna technology. According to the type of incident signals, it presents the smart antenna receiving the signal model in depth.Then, the paper introduces the smart antenna beamforming algorithm criteria (least mean square criterion, least square method, the maximum SNR criterion); according to criteria analysis algorithms, calculate beamforming weights in the function, and analysis presented weight requirements of various algorithms (steepest descent algorithm, least mean square algorithm, etc.), and the simulation algorithm to analyze the various algorithms are determined to improve the algorithm and then propose new and better convergence, computational complexity smaller algorithms. Finally, smart antenna technology are discussed in detail in advance of hardware platform needs, and smart antenna technology hardware implementation process in detail, describing the hardware platform of the external circuit, and the beamforming algorithm software program to analyze gives the software development process.
