Laser gyro with total reflection prisms is a novel sensitivity electro-optical instrumentation. It works on the single longitudinal mode and the travel-wave state. If surrounds and self-heating effect affects the laser gyro, the cavity's longitudinal mode oscillation may occur hopping. It brings a problem that the time used to"jump mode"exist"8 seconds delay". It will result in a longer time dual-mode operation in the resonant cavity. The delay brings optical power output fluctuation and makes serious error of the laser gyro. How to reduce the control time of"jump mode"and improve the efficiency of the frequency stabilization is of importance.Based on the special way of total reflection prism laser gyro's frequency stabilization system, we use the finite element analysis to analyze the gyro's stabilized system.(1) The working process of the total reflection prism laser gyro's frequency stabilization is analyzed theoretically, while the advantages and disadvantages with the traditional mirror-LG frequency stabilization system are compared.(2) According to the principle of the total reflection prism laser gyro's frequency stabilization process, a finite element analysis model of gyroscope resonator cavity is established.(3) Using the finite element analysis, the reasonability of the frequency stabilization process's delay has been checked.(4) By changing the thermal transmission equation's boundary conditions, some new plans from three different ways to reduce the delay are proposed.(5) Some experiments has been designed and done to verify the simulation to improve the feasibility of the plans.
