Laser gyro, as an ideal inertial navigation device, with the superiority that low-cost, longevity, high-reliability, large dynamic range, has very big value for research and prospect for application. Because of the high reflectivity, high Q value and low scatter from back and such as these excellent qualities of total reflection prim, it has been applied in laser gyro widely. The temperature is a key factor affecting the output accuracy of the total reflection prim laser gyro, so the device cannot get the accurate measurement via variably temperature of surrounding and inside. Therefore, it is important to analyze the performance of gyro's output at low temperature.In this paper, the total reflection prim laser gyro is studied at low temperature. The working principle of total reflection prim laser gyro and the method for build temperature model of gyro are stated in detail. The temperature test of gyro is done. The gyro's scale factor at different temperature is calculated, and the influence of temperature on the optical part is obtained.
