As one of the most idealist components in the strap-down inertial navigation system, the ring laser gyro are studied by many countries in the world, but the laser gyro technology in our country are following behind some advanced countries. Total reflection prism laser gyroscope is a new kind of laser gyro. It has potential applications in the future, In this paper,the computer simulation technology was applied to the theoretical study of laser gyro. The influence of error components on the resonant cavity is analyzed and simulated. In this way, we can save some time in studying laser gyro, improve product structure and productivity. The content of this paper is:1,It is derived the beam transmission matrixes of laser gyro resonator on the ideal condition, the angle disturbance, temperature disturbance and both of them disturbance respectively.2,By using beam self-consistent theory, it is deduced beam shifts when prisms angle exist technological errors, temperature change, and both of them exist.3,The error curve with temperature of prism angle is discussed to propose theoretical guidance for the design and production.4,As an error source of the RLG, the zero bias is also studied. The influence of temperature on the zero bias is calculated.5,According to the self-consistent equations of RLQ the simulation platform is built with MATLAB. The result of simulation agrees with the actual situation perfectly. It let users calculate the error of laser gyro more accurate and easier.
