Design And Realization Of Content Management System Based On Web Service

As more and more information appears on the internet, the traditional information systems have to change to deal with the diversity of the information. The Content Manager is the new research field in the Information management which can manage the information effectively and economically. The most important thing to do of the Content Manager is collect, manage and use of various data resources. As the product of Content Manager, SharePoint and Documentum Content Server were proverbially used in varies field. According to Man-machine interface for the Documentum Content Server unfriendly and SharePoint server load too much and so on, this paper integrates SharePoint and Documentum Content Server to design and develop Documentum content management system based on the SharePoint.Through researches of the relevant theoretical, based on the analysis of the overall business requirements and the system characteristics, the thesis uses Web Service and modular design methods to design and realize the Documentum content management system. This paper applied MVP (Model-View-Presenter) three-tier architecture design concepts and software engineering methods. It analysis the system design architecture through use case and logic view, designs and realizes the Lifecycle, Permission Control, Search and rendition. It uses Web Service to envelope the substrate service in order to archive relax coupling of layers and calling cross-platform. Additionally, the system strongly emphasizes on the exception handler, envelops the Exception to three types and uses Log4Net to realize the record of the fault log.After testing, the thesis enables the integration of SharePoint and Documentum, realizes a support network-based content management system which man-machine interface is friendly, content is stored strongly. It successfully releases in the global, the clients worldwide include Intel, ABB and other various 500 strong enterprises.
