In common solar photovoltaic systems, most of them are designed by fixed-type photovoltaic panels, the angle between the photovoltaic panels and the sunlight can not always be guaranteed to 90-degree angle, and the utilization of solar energy is insufficient. Photovoltaic power stations are generally located in sparsely populated remote areas because of the special distribution of solar energy. The objective of this paper is to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation stations in an effective way, and to realize remote monitoring.The main contents of this dissertation are:An automatic tracking type photovoltaic power plant control system based on wireless network was designed, the solar auto-tracking transmitter and wireless communication gateway that are key equipments of the system had been developed.With the application of DSP TMS320F28035 and the specific control algorithm, the angle between the sunlight and the micro-photovoltaic sensor which is installed in the two-axis rotating platform is adjusted, the measurement information of the intensity and angle of the sunlight is obtained, and the results are sent to other devices in the system through the Zigbee interface .The accuracy of the prototype of the solar auto-tracking transmitter with Zigbee wireless interface is about 9% , it has a small energy consumption and high accuracy.According to the needs of running the monitoring system, the chip such as CC2530 and Sim300 were used, communication gateways with data forwarding and remote communication functions are designed and produced, mainly including hardware design, Zigbee protocol programming, as well as other GPRS-driver embedded software development; prototype passed the laboratory testing.The innovation of this dissertation is as follows:For the automatic tracking of the sunlight and the control scheme to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation system, a method is proposed to build a low-cost, low-power remote wireless monitoring of photovoltaic power station system.According to the characteristic that the incident angle of sunlight is same in the local scale, a separate optical signal transmitter is used in the system, to replace the photovoltaic panels controllers which all need to be detected, so that the goal of low power and low-cost monitoring of the monitoring system is achieved.Zigbee wireless communication between the transmitter and photovoltaic devices can simplify cable connections, avoid the problem of wire aging and improve the flexibility and maintainability of photovoltaic power stations.Mature GPRS technology is used in photovoltaic power generation systems for remote monitoring and controlling. The remote control center can monitor and control a number of photovoltaic power generation systems in different locations.
