This paper presents a visual camera array and TOF camera based 3D capture hardware system design method. The paper could be divided into three parts according to the content.The first part of this paper presents the realization of 3D capture hardware system. Firstly, this part introduces that the whole hardware is divided into four subsystems: video capture system, signal transmission system, data processing system and data fusion system. Then this part introduces the realization method of each part, the synchronization method between each part and the circuit design chart.The second part introduces the optimization of 3D capture algorithm. We optimize the current algorithm both facing C language and DSP platform.The third part introduces the communication method of the video detection hardware system. This part could be divided into two parts: the communication between DSPs and the communication between DSP and PC. We use four signal lines to realize the communication between DSPs by the asynchronous method. And we use the NDK package from Ti corporation to realize the communication between DSP and PC based on TCP/IP protocol.
