The Chinese education press agencies whose prime mission is to spread the advanced culture to their customs have a huge and steady market. However, nowadays, their advancements have been significantly hindered in increasingly intense competition of media due to depending on the profession and administration excessively for a long period of time. The transition of Chinese education press agencies is extremely urgent.The aim of this study is to analyze the probable reasons of transition for the Chinese education press agencies. Then four forms of transition were summarized, and finally a feasible development road with Chinese characteristics of the education press agencies was explored.In conclusion, the education press agencies in China are no doubt facing the most important challenges to their transitions. It is therefore, necessary to make ready for transitions in all aspects such as location, strategy, content, style, business, management, operation, etc. Extending the brands influences through quality improvements, forming three-dimensional operation patterns through creative business modes, dominating new media markets through digital publications, and strengthening co operations through multi-field combinations might be the answers.
