The Design And Implementation Of University's Performance Management System

University student performance management system is an indispensable component of the digital campus university system. It's also the subsystem of Educational Management System.In today's fast-growing information age, with the rapid development of Internet and computer technology, some of the work of the university student performance management system is still done manually, for example, the input work, which not only failed to reduce the workload and is prone to errors, but also wasted a lot of labor and material resources.This paper first analyzes the requirements and the functions of the performance management system. Then it proposed the requirements on software and hardware of establishing the system, which is based on analyzing the needs of network information management technology. It also sets up several major functional modules: system management, professional management, student status management, PETS registration, teacher information, course management, various inquiries and printing. Within the user rights management, there are three administrator systems to allow the corresponding visitors to have the appropriate permissions to achieve the information query, exchange, add, delete and so on. The requirements for the system: server-side using a windows2000 + IIS, Client use is the windows series + IE6.0 and above browsers, the main technology is the use of ASP, Access, VBScript. The system uses the B / S (Browser/Server) structure, B / S structure has the advantage of not subject to regional restriction, and it does not require a special operating environment, as long as the Internet may, at any place log on, it can browse the contents within the system. The System has the following features: Versatility; Usability; Efficiency. There is a common problem in the previous system, that is, each entry for only one record. which deviates from the modern high-performance network. The reality is that most teachers will enter the scores after the completion of their registration, generally, they use Excel spreadsheets, some will use the small and medium sized database table, such as V Fox pro table, Access table, etc. In order to avoid repetitive effort, performance management system must have data import function, it is necessary to be able to import both the configuration database table and the heterogeneous database table. High efficiency of the design is an innovation of the system. It will reduce a lot of tedious work for the academic deans. so that the educational management will be more standardized and rigorous.
