Research On Virtual Laboratory System For Vibration Analysis Based On Campus Network

Experiment teaching has been playing an increasingly important role in modern education. Traditional teaching method pay attention to teaching, ignoring students' learning initiatives, which makes students have high aspirations but low abilities. So the reformation of teaching methods is imminent. On the other hand, Dalian university of technology hasn't had a complete comprehensive laboratory in the aspects of vibration teaching and colleges separately purchase equipments which can not form a large scale. Therefore, virtual laboratory for vibration analysis based on campus network need to be established urgently, in group that students can learn independently online. In recent years, to construct the virtual laboratory has also been possible through the network, especially, with the rapid development of computer technology and network technology.A method that is suitable for campus network and developed by pure software is proposed, which is based on studying research situation of abroad virtual laboratory and the existing achievements and experiences in this thesis. This virtual lab is mainly divided into two parts, bilingual teaching system and the virtual experiment system. Bilingual teaching system is mainly about the basic theoretical knowledge of vibration analysis, which mainly uses the form of a static HTML pages. The using method of virtual experiment system which mainly demonstrates some actual signal spectrum diagram is that servlet is used to realize connecting with database in server and SQL Server is used to save the vibration data and Java Applet is used to develop the client, which is embedded into the web and issued to the internet.The bilingual teaching system has been basically completed. Both Chinese and English template make students not only learn professional knowledge, but also can improve the professional English level. Virtual experiment system mainly includes three parts, data base, the experimental platform and signal analysis module. We can observe the time spectrum diagram of signal through studying the system.All the teachers and students can learn the basic theory of knowledge of vibration analysis and fault diagnosis and observe some practical vibration signal through studying the system online, which make them have a deep understanding in fault diagnosis. The system is well practical and easy to learn for students through internet.
