In Social development into the media age, and its impact on the community not only in the expected, is also reasonable. In this paper, We talk about the relations between scientists and the media and the public,to discuss the media for the dissemination of the important role of science, as well as the current media in the dissemination of science to some of the defects.And then, a content analysis was made relying on the media, Media Literacy for the Academy of Sciences conducted the survey data analysis, The content of the main thesis is divided into four parts:This article put forward the first part of the research background, research methods and practical significance, describes the role of the media and discussed in this study to promote the development of science and the dissemination of practical significance.Part II of this paper discuss the relations between Media and Science Communication, Analysis of news reports on People's Daily and Xinhuanet. The study found, the main task of media is improving their own quality,and the lack of original online media, in urgent need of building the ranks of practitioners.Part III of this paper discussed the media literacy of academicians from three aspects which included contacting with mass media, understanding and evaluation of mass media, actions and attitude of using mass media. The research made 257 academicians of Chinese Academy of Science and Chinese Academy of Engineering as its objects and brought forward some suggestions from aspects of mass media and academicians themselves to improve the way that academician taking part in science communication activities.In order to promote academicians to utilize the mass media to develope science propagation acitivities, the forth part brings forward some relative advice from these aspects: the media, academicians, service departments for those academicians and relavant government departments.
