With the wide applications of image acquisition system, the requirements of which people pursue the CCD detection system are increasing day by day. The traditional CCD detection system has been unable to meet the increasingly wide range of applications because of its complicated structure and high cost. This thesis is devoted to the design of a set of single-chip FPGA-based and economic CCD detection system. Such system can meet the demand of the measurement of spatial light intensity and the recognition and processing of light signals. This thesis is devoted to the research on the basic structure of CCD detection system, the design of the hardware circuit, and manufacture and debugging of circuit board for the CCD detection system based on single-chip FPGA. The use of Altera's low-cost FPGA chips EP2C20Q240 for the FPGA chip system, and double-plate design for circuit board, meets the demand of miniaturization and low-cost for CCD detection system. The CCD time-driven pulse is obtained by the FPGA device, and the control programs for single sample and correlated double sampling are achieved by the FPGA device. Taking the advantage of FPGA digital signal processing functions, the signal processing for the CDS is studied. Based on FPGA chip's programmable feature, the adjustment of driving frequency and the ADC's sampling moment is convenient by changing the process instead of the external circuit. The data transmission interface of the system and the host computer adopts the network transmission, and takes full advantage of network transmission, including long-distance transmission, remote access and information sharing. The Nios II soft core based on FPGA is used as CPU, and the application program is designed to accomplish the data transfer dependably.
