The Recovery Of Omissible Noun In Natural Language Understanding And Its Application On Product Design

Along with the development and application of computer technology, electronic product design methods change constantly. Computer-aided design occupies an important position in product design. And the correct analysis of user requirements is the most critical step in product design which requires a sound field of natural language understanding system.This paper focuses on the phenomenon of noun omission in the natural language understanding system. And then it explores the applications of noun omission and recovery in electronic product design. Based on the analysis of the omission in user requirements in natural language form, we will eventually result into the conceptual design requirements or design parameters.Firstly this paper describes several commonly used knowledge representation methods in natural language understanding and their advantages and disadvantages and several levels of natural language understanding. Secondly, it analyze the omitted phenomenon, first briefly describe the omission type in syntactic level, and then determine the omission of several types of fixed structure in semantic level. And we use semantic analysis and discourse analysis and context of verb to analyze.Again, we restore two kinds of omission in different structures.Finally,we use noun omission and recovery to analyze the user needs.Then we establish the appropriate knowledge base and achieve better design results.
