| With the development and opening up of China's economic, the number of bridges and buildings is increasing quckliy in China. As these harbor architectures are in the complex hydrological environment in a long time, the surrounding sediment washes them frequently so that they deform, damage, so as to cause water damage. The destruction of the harbor architecture is mainly caused by the local scour at its groundwork, so the reliable monitoring and real-time measurement is the foundation to guarantee its safe run,but also is the development of information construction of water conservancy directions.Based on the analysis of the difficulties to monitor the sediment scouring of harbor architecture, this paper discussed a design of the remote monitoring system for underwater security of harbor architecture by using Microcontroller Unit as the kernel of system and introducing GPRS wireless transmission module. Through real-time collection, transmission and analysis of the local scour data on harbor architecture, the problem of scour monitoring and forecasting is solved. The application shows that the system works steadily and the error of measurement is small and can be widely applied in the dams, in the bridge as well as in the bed.This paper includes six chapters. In the first chapter, the relevant background of this project is presented. Chapter 2 introduces the basic theory of GPRS network. The design of the overall structure will be detailed in Chapter 3. Chapter 4 introduces the design of the monitoring terminal hardware in detail. The design of the whole system's software is introduced in Chapter 5. Chapter 6 includes results of the experiments and analysis of errors. At last, a summary and outlook about the project will be presented. |
