Research And Application Of GPRS Data Communication Program

GPRS（General Packet Radio Service）is a kind of system based on GSM wirelesspacket switching technology,provides end-to-end, wide-area wireless IP （InternetProtocol） connection.GPRS has the advantages of high speed, permanent online etc. it isthe smooth bridge to the third generation mobile communication of GSM. With the help ofthe Mobile Corporation of access network and transmission network, to establish a remotemonitoring system, monitoring range not only wide but also low cost. This paper is on thestudy of GPRS and TCP/IP, make the monitoring system of space extends to the mobilenetwork and the Internet.This paper presents a data communication technology of the monitoring system basedon GPRS network, and according to the characteristics of GPRS communication modulewith the data center, gives the design of data center and GPRS module communicationfunction. GPRS network monitoring system is composed of two parts of wireless dataacquisition terminal and the monitoring center.Monitoring Center is a computer whichmonitoring software running on.The monitoring software provides displaying terminaldata,data processing analysis,generating the alarm signal,storangeing historicaldata,generating business report and etc.The acquisition terminal is a acquisition systembased on the micro control unit(MCU),mainly including the data acquisitionmodule,control module and wireless transmission module.The key to this topic research has two: The first is the micro control unit (MCU) andGPRS module connection. That is, MCU transmits data through its serial port to the GPRSmodule, keep GPRS link on Internet connection is smooth, can be very stabled exchangedata with the monitoring center.Secondly,write a application based on internetcommunication protocol in the embedded system.The TCP/IP provided with highreliability and maturity of the flow control.According to it,package a layer of internal stability and reliable communication protocol.and then transfer the results of the analysis to monitoring center accurately with it.
