With the advance of port management objective and the deepening of the informationconstruction, the present cable network system of port can’t satisfy many networktransmission requirements, such as business application system, automatic control systems,mobile terminal,etc. So, it is urgent to design a efficient and steady wireless networkwhich can cover the main work sites,such as port storage yard, wharf, etc. How to realizethe wireless network coverage of port and establish one’s own suitable wireless networksystem, which have been the immportant questions that need to be resolved in the processof enterprise informatization.First of all, this paper analyzes the status of information construction and the demandof wireless network, concludes that it is necessary to construct wireless network system inthe port. On the basis of studying domestic and foreign existing port wireless networksystem, taking the actual circumstances and demand of wireless network of Shenhuahuanghua port Limited liability company as background, analysising wireless networkdesign, expounding the reasons for choice of wireless network technology, concluded thatthe main contents of the system study and design target.Second, Combining actual environment of port storage yard dock, the paper designsthe system as a whole in the full mastery and understand system under the premise ofdemand. Through clarifying the wireless network coverage, analyzing system may beoriented towards the application object and the user types, it achieved goals after thecompletion of the system. Determining that it is centralized network structure by unifiednetwork controller and lightweight access points, and thus realizes wireless networksunited centralized management and security mechanism.At the same time, solving theproblem of the cable access inconvenience and vulnerableness while using wireless meshnetwork connections between network nodes, and realizs wireless link real-time backup.Finally, technical research based on various manufacturers, determining equipmentbrand、model and quantity. Technical requirements and practical situation based on thedesign scheme and the actual situation, forming the final installation deployment scheme. Description based on network security and network management characteristics of chooseequipment, introducing the functions which the system can realize.
