The Optimization And Improvement Of Rating Module In CNC Billing And Accounting System

With accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the reform in the telecommunication systems, the number of customers continues rising and their needs continues changing. As Billing & Accounting System (BAS) is an important part of telecom operators' Business & Operation Support System (BOSS), telecom operators improve service quality and enhance their competitive strength by the way of building and improving the efficiency of BAS.This article starts from the actual project - China Netcom BAS Transformation Project, deeply analyzed and researched the rating module which could be transformed and optimized. Proposed practical transforming and optimizing program, and implemented in the project.During the process of research, confirmed the defects of rating module firstly, and then gave the following improving points:(1) Recode the codes of detail records' time dividing in rating module.(2) Improve the speed of rating process.(3) Recode the store method of customer information.(4) Add the credit control function.(5) Add the external system of rating module.(6) Propose the trend of rating module in the future.By researching theoretical basis, giving the optimizing program and coding to realize, finished the work of transforming and optimizing rating module in BAS and gave my own points of future development of BAS.
