| After the foundation of the New Unicom which splits the CDMA network and combines Netcom, the billing management system of China Netcom, which makes fixed network and mobile internet independent has restricted the implement of enterprise marketing plan. China Unicom needs a comprehensive and extensible billing system,which also with truly integrated unified platform and high performance, to meets the needs of enterprise in all aspects.Billing subsystem is the most important operation system of China Unicom.It is a whole business-supporting platform, which can realize both the charge of fixed network and mobile internet and the charge of convergent business combining multiple products.The function of billing subsystem can mainly be divided into standard accounting,calculation of ordered products, fixed fee, calculation of third-party value-added products, preferential treatment and treatment of billing account relationships. This system adopts UNIX operating system, programmed by C/C++ language. As for the database, we adopt large data base---ORACLE, which with strong storage capacity and stable. In order to boost operating efficiency, we adopt in-memory database---ALTIBASE to realize fast charging and preferential treatment. It improves the accuracy and timeliness of single calculation and real-time data. We adopt China Unicorn' s latest developed data model as data structure to meet the needs of convergent business.In this paper, we analyze the development and background of billing subsystem,and discuss the basic functions and implementation process of billing subsystem. We state and solve the problems which we meet in the development process of the system,and we test the system' s usability by unit testing and performance testing, realize the whole business-supporting billing function of Unicom. As one of the core system of Unicom operating systems. This system runs smoothly, can be easily maintained and monitored. It supports the development of future business requirements. |
