| Video surveillance system is an integrated system which refers to computer technology, communication technology and digital video technology. Because of its convenience and its enrich information, it has an abroad application in the area of industry, traffic, telecom, electric power, bank, intelligence building.With the development of network technology, embedded technology and video technology, it has been possible to transport and control digital video data on networking real time. Embedded video surveillance system is a new digital video surveillance system based on embedded system technology, video technology and real time network transport technology It has many advantages compared to the old video surveillance system, such as stability, real time performance, functions and price etc .It is also the direction of research and development in video surveillance system.This dissertation analyses carefully the design and implementation of the embedded video surveillance sever, the core of the new video surveillance system. And then design and implementation the advanced equipment based on the microprocessor MPC8245 and embedded real time Linux operating system.This dissertation introduces the development and research status of the video surveillance system at first. Then introduces the theory of the embedded video surveillance server. After that, it analyses the hardware of the server based on the microprocessor MPC8245. It analyses carefully the technology of embedded Linux system involved the boot loader Linux kernel and file system. and discusses how to design and implement the PCI device driver in Linux system. At last, it designs and implements the software of the Network Media Video Sever. |
