Research Of Product Structure And Configuration Management Based On Web

As an integrated platform for enterprise information, Product Data Management (PDM) has been applied to more and more enterprises. Product Data Management is a technology that manages all datum and process of related products. In this paper, PDM's background, development and evolvement are expatiated. The distinction is introduced between traditional PDM and web-based PDM. Also, the characteristic of PDM system facing small and middle enterprise is analyzed in this thesis, and then focus on web-based Product Structure and Configuration Management.This thesis steps from the requirements of small and middle enterprises and focus on the core function of PDM, namely Product Structure and Configuration Management.This paper researches the establishment of the product structure and configuration management model based on its theory, and the realization of functions by product structure tree, such as information management of products and components, product structure tree management and configuration process. For wire rope electric hoist as an example, problems to be solved is analized to achieve functions about product structure and configuration management in JSP technology, such as generation methods of product structure tree, parts'information management and the configuration process of realization.Electronic storage as the underlying, and BOM as its core, product structure and configuration management links all the engineering datum and files to define the product. Theirfore, designing methodology of parts'datum sheets and datum structure tables is researched to achieve to generate product structure tree in this thesis. In addition, the BOM's management in multi-view is introduced.
