Boiler as a kind of basic energy conversion equipment . Combustion control is an important part of the boiler control system. It is directly related to security, reliability, stability,economy of boiler control system. Improving boiler combustion efficiency of the automated control system not only can adapt to the adjustments to the energy structure of China, but also can contribute to our energy reduction, improvement of people's living environment. In this paper, it is conducted in-depth research on combustion system of 120t/h natural circulation furnace for the purpose of the optimal control of combustion systems.Aiming at resolving the problem of jumbled coupling among the parameters , many disturbance factors, and difficulty to obtain an accurate model in combustion system of 120t/h natural circulation furnace, by analysis of the parameters characteristic in the entire process of combustion system and on the basis of control requirements for combustion system, divide the boiler combustion control system into three parts, they are superheated steam pressure control, self-optimizing air-fuel ratio control, furnace pressure control respectively. A complete set of boiler combustion control program has been designed.This paper presents three intelligent controllers and elaborates design method of each controller. Fuzzy Controller based on DE is used for superheated steam pressure control, the PID based on improved DE algorithm is used for optimal air-fuel ratio control .and fuzzy control based on improved FA algorithm is used for the furnace pressure control, finally achieving the control strategy of this article. Then achieve the simulation in the MATLAB environment. By comparison with the fuzzy controller or traditional controllers, the superiority of each intelligent controller is confirmed: For example .adjustment time is reduced over 20s. overshoot is at least reduced by 7%. and rise time is increased in some extent. At the same time, the simulation results also show that. the control strategy in this paper has improved the combustion efficiency of the boiler system, making the combustion system has more prominent regulation quality, achieving the goal to enhance the economic benefits and save the fuelFinally, the system performance was still validated in the environment of Siemens PCS7 system. Controller module was made by using SCL language, and control strategy was achieved by CFC programing. Successfully realize the control of boiler combustion system,and achieved good control effect. Except that, the system has good operationstability and anti-interference ability. All of this has proved that control strategy proposed in this paper has practical value and provides a solution can be implemented for the combustion system of 120t/h natural circulation furnace.
