The machine of numerical control is a kind of electromechanical integration product, which combines the electronic information technology with traditional machine technology. It is very useful in processing work-piece with complex shape. Metallic material bending is one of the most complex parts during the work-piece processing. In ordinary bending machine, a long work time is needed to product work-piece with high quality. But in CNC bending machine, it is easier to work out better product in a shorter time for its automatically calculation of the mechanical position based on the angle. The major contribution of this paper is to design CNC bending machine control system, which is easy-to-use, cost-effective, and high-precision.After analyzing the function and principle of bending machine, the whole plan of the control system is worked out. It analyzed the feasibility of the scheme in which touch-screen interface is used as the human-computer interaction based on ARM9 and WinCE, it also used PLC as its control unit.The algorithm of control system is primarily studied in this paper. The BP network was established to simulate the connection between bend segment radius and open slot width, material thickness, then bend segment radius is used to research ram stroke and the back gauge moving, based on plane geometry and trigonometric function. The computing formula worked out by this paper can make back gauge positioned accurately, and control ram stroke moving well and truly.According to the different data formats of bending machine system, the following three kinds of data storage mode is adopted, such as ini file, serialize, SQLite data base. This paper finished the reading and writing function of ini file, analyzed the usage of SQLite data base and serialize. After relative procedure was completed, it was used in the system.To make the interface more beautiful and easier to operate, a set of custom controls were designed. The interface architecture is made up of the title bar, the message bar, the function bar and the dialog. The three bars were created when the main frame of the project was created. This paper encapsulated some common functions of dialogs in the CDlgBase class, form which all dialogs inherited. Some representative innovative Interfaces were mainly introduced in this paper, such as mould programming, data programming, manual graphics operation interface and machine regulating.The controller designed can guarantee the error angle within 0.2°from practice. Not only the requirement of product quality can be fully satisfied by the controlled resolution, but also humanized operate interface was well received by users. The report given by the Novelty Search Workstation of Ministry of Education L08 proves the novelty of this control system. The research in this paper plays an improving role in bending control technology.
