Research And Design Of Wireless Data Transmission System Based On General Packet Radio Service

Nowadays, the development of communication technology is revealed in two spheres: broadband communication network, Wireless Communication Technology. How to connect the two spheres, General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) has its own advantage. Many people also use this way to achieve the connection between broadband communication network and Wireless Communication Technology, although the development of the third generation (3G) technology. The third generation technology still doesn't grow up large in China, so the service of GPRS is the main way to implement remote wireless connecting internet and system application.In this paper, the author mentioned the structure of paper from the development of Wireless Communication Technology, analyzed the prospect of GPRS in the third Generation ages and researched the GPRS network. During the whole researching, author structured the system of wireless data transmission. The structure includes two aspects: hardware system researching, software system researching. In both researching, author had provided the design method and the train of thought, then, used the instantiation to explain them. In the last designing, the author established the system of wireless data transmission, its functions including: SMS data transmission, Serial Port data transmission, GPRS data transmission.In the design of hardware system, author decomposed the system into four subsystems: Power Management module; GPRS module; microprocessor control unit (PIC24FJ serial); data acquisition module, introduced the schematic diagram design and printed circuit board routing. In the design of software system, author also decomposed the system into four subsystems: SMS data transmission system; parameter configuration system; voice call system and GPRS connecting network data transmission system, analyzed the procedures editing of sending short Message in two modes: Text modes and PDU mode. Author gave his most energy in the soft designing of GPRS connecting network data transmission system, which including the negotiation of point to point protocol. The Point to Point Protocol consists of the established of LCP protocol, authentication of PAP protocol and negotiation of IPCP protocol. In the system transmission, as the ISO mode of TCP/IP protocol, UDP to be the transport layer protocol, IP to be the network layer protocol. Author all did the presentation of the way of software design.Users could interface well with the module system, and can do lots of expands. According to the result of testing module system, we can discover it run well. So we can use it extensive in the remote wireless monitoring and data acquisition applications.
