Gprs Mobile Communication System Optimization

In this paper, I analyze the GPRS network particularly, then introduce the structure of GPRS system and service provided by GPRS system. This paper includes two parts: one is basic theory of GPRS , the other is the optimization for GPRS.In the first part, it includes the main features of GPRS, all services over GPRS, transmission model for GPRS, basic structure of GPRS, movement management for GPRS, radio resource management, air interface of GPRS, Gb interface, Abis interface etc.In the second part, it includes the aim of GPRS optimization, the process of GPRS optimization, and studies the cases for GPRS optimization deeply.Firstly, It studies the balance between GSM and GPRS, and gives the principle of the configuration for the GPRS system innovatively. In this way, I find how to balance the resource between GSM and GPRS.Secondly, It set the C/I into optimization configuration by analyzing and experimenting the power control of GPRS. It can improve the transmission velocity of GPRS effectively.Thirdly, It studies the optimization for Key service and improves the performance for application environment of GPRS.The last, It studies the network security including: the protection for GPRS core network, the hidden trouble of GPRS core network, how to check the attack to Gi interface. Meanwhile, It gives many solutions for above problems in order to improve the security of GPRS.
