With the rapid development of modern computer technology and internet techniques, the embedded system becomes one of the focuses in IT industry. Nowadays, ARM with 32-bit embedded processor becomes the most widely applied for its extraordinary performance and low power consumption. The embedded Linux also will take the dominant Place of embedded operation system because of its strong feature, free using and abundant resource. This design structures a hardware platform of Mongolian information processing system.With the platform we can realize Mongolian input, display and other functions.This paper introduces ARM9 based on S3C2410 processor of the Mongolian information processing hardware platform.We select S3C2410 processor as the center of the platform with the external circuits RS-232 serial port, USB interface, JTAG port, A/D sampling interface and touch screen interface and so on.After hardware structures, we transplant VIVI and Linux 2.6 in the platform. Finally, we publish Mongolian information systems.This paper not only realizes a simple embedded platform of Mongolian information processing hardware system which is based on the S3C2410, but also makes us familiar with the developing process and the structure of embedded system. It is benefical for us to studing the ARM embedded system well and also lay a certain foundation for continuing to carry out Mongolian information processing.
