The application of the embedded system is more and more extensive along with the development of science and technology, But most of the embedded system that use English or Chinese language more than minority language .This article is aiming at this situation and integrate the characteristic of Mongolian , proposed a Mongolian input scheme that based on embedded Linux , This system base on embedded ARM microcontroller, use embedded Linux operating system, use Qt graphical user interface class library, complete input and display of Mongolian .This article has six chapters. The first is Introduction, briefly introduces the background and the source of subject. Second, Embedded Linux system was briefly introduced; Embedded graphical user interface was presented in third chapter; the fource chapter introduces International and local mechanism of Linux, the method of lattice withdraw and the code scheme; the fifth chapter introduces a Mongolian input method that suits for the touch screen; several Mongolian input optimization scheme was discussed in chapter six. This article propose the Mongolian input method which based on embedded Linux, applicable to embedded equipment which has touch screen, thanks to use self-defining Mongolian font, solve the problem that there are not enough number of code in Unicode about Mongolian, also make the input interface simple, Convenient for users and has good maneuverability, establish the solid foundation for Mongolian used in embedded equipment more widely in future.
