Embedded Linux regarded as a mainstream embedded solution, the technology of Mongolian handling in embedded environment is still in the initial stage, mainly because English's grammar and writing features are different from Mongolian, which requires vertical typesetting from left to right, but Linux does not support such character processing and rotation. The Linux system displays Mongolian needs two parts support:Mongolian encoding and font document. Non-uniform encoding hinders the communication of Mongolian information, so this article designs and makes the user-defined Mongolian lattice font, analyses the architecture of embedded linux, dissertates the design proposal in detaile to meet the prerequisite of unicode encoding.The content of this research includes four points:firstly, analyzing the composing of Unicode encoding and grammar features of Mongolian,then defining Mongolian characters and making lattice font; secondly, designing Mongolian editor; thirdly, to improve and optimize the Mongolian dot-matrix words display; fourthly, proposing the implementation program of the compatible Mongolian dot-matrix fonts and OpenType Mongolian text word-processing system.This article propose the Mongolian word-processing which based on embedded Linux, applicable to embedded equipment which has touch screen, thanks to use self-defining Mongolian font, solve the problem that there are not enough number of code in Unicode about Mongolian, also make the input interface simple, Convenient for users and has good maneuverability, establish the solid foundation for Mongolian used in embedded equipment more widely in future. |
