The embedded technology has become one of the focus technologies in IT industry, embedded system also has been widely used along with the development of information technology and the popularity of digital products, such as cell phones, MP3, PDA, etc intelligence information products. At present, these products in these support language, is still in western or Chinese as the core to display. Because the Mongolian has its unique language features, it makes that Mongolian information processing based on the embedded system is still in the initial stage. This thesis is based on the embedded ARM-Linux system, then researches and develops a simple Mongolian information processing platform, which is mainly used for Mongolian intelligent terminals and application testing.The content of this research includes three points:firstly, the design of the Mongolian information processing hardware platform which is based on ARM9 S3C2440, includes the design of power and reset circuit, storage systems circuit USB circuit, touch screen and LCD interface circuit; secondly, we completed the transplant of U-boot on the S3C2440 platform;thirdly, we studied of the Linux start-up process in detail, realized the Linux kernel transplantation, made a file system and completed the Mongolian information deployment and release. This paper designed and implemented a simple Mongolian information processing platform based on S3C2440, and it can help to improve the informationization level of the Mongolian,and also can be widely applied to other information embedded Mongolian terminal.
